Résumé
Specimens of Montague island marmot have not been collected sdince 1905 and 1908. This marmot is not provided any protective status. It was assigned the threat category data deficient by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature. This marmot occur throughout much of Alaska, and south along the coast trough western Canada and into high elevations of the Northwestern United States, including western Montana.
