Résumé
A survey was performed to define the distribution of dermatophytes fungi associated with animal habitat in mountain environment, the preliminary results obtained by examining soil samples taken from 96 marmot burrows from Western Alps are shown. Samples were examined by Vanbreuseghems' method (hors hair fragments used as keratinic baits on a wet soil, for dermatophytes growth). The following dermatophytes fungi were identified by the Rebell and Taplins' keys: Microsporum gypseum, M. canis, Trichophyton mentagrophytes.
