Résumé

Different features of the hair shaft structure, such as its base, granna structure, and shape and pattern of the cuticle scales, are discussed as informative parameters. The data characterizing hair structure in the withers of Felis catus and Saiga tatarica are presented in a table. Taxon-specific and sex-dependent characteristics are discussed.
