Résumé
The check of the hypothesis about adequacy of results, received by use sex differentiated and nondifferentiated samples was made on a basis of the discriminant and cluster analysis of mandible metric characters of the bobakmarmot (Marmota bobak Mull.) and bobac (Marmota baibacina Kastsch.). The distinctions between sex nondifferentiated marmot groups from different species or populations is same clear, as well as between groups of males and females.
